Cheek Enhancement

At The Beauty Medics we use market leading Juvederm filler, this cutting edge technology will add volume to the cheeks to rejuvenate your look.

How does it work?

At The Beauty Lab Medics we use the marketing leading facial filler juvederm. This leading facial filler uses cutting edge technology and when injected correctly can lift and sculpt the facial contours restoring a youthful appearance.

Overtime the face naturally looses volume and the definition around the cheeks. This often results in the skin of the face sagging and thus loosing that youthful appearance.

What does the treatment involve?

This treatment involves small quantities of filler to be injected into cheeks. The discomfort is minimal and local anesthetic as well as topical anesthetic is used to minimize pain and swelling.

How long does the treatment last?

The current recommendation by the manufacturer is that Juverderm filler depending on where it is injected can last between 6-9 months. However, all individuals are different and some patients can experience early breakdown of the filler.

How long will it take to recover?

The downtime for this procedure is between 48-72 hours.

How long do the results last?

Depending on the area injected the results typically last between 9-12 months.

Are there any side effects or complications?

Every procedure involves a certain amount of risk, and it is important that you understand that risks involved. An individual’s choice to undergo a procedure is based on the comparison of the risk to potential benefit. Although the majority of patients do not experience these complications, you should discuss each of them with your practitioner to make sure you understand the risks, potential complications, and consequences of dermal filler injections:

  • Bleeding
  • Bruising/Swelling
  • Infection
